What we do

  • Develop public-interest security standards

We create clear, human-readable expectations for how organizations should protect the people whose data and livelihoods they hold.

  • Run independent digital safety reviews

Through structured assessments, we evaluate an organization's security posture and provide detailed guidance and an overall rating.

  • Educate communities

We host workshops, publish guides, and partner with schools, nonprofits, and local groups to raise the baseline of digital literacy and safety.

  • Advocate for better security practices

We work with policymakers, industry leaders, and the public to promote stronger security norms and regulations that protect everyone.

Who we serve

Our work is focused on the people most impacted when digital systems fail:

  • Families and individuals relying on online services
  • Small businesses, local orgs, and faith communities
  • Schools and community centers
  • Public-facing organizations that hold sensitive data
